Ordered Flower Fairies of the Spring! I've been wanting to get Charlotte more into fairies because they're my favorite mythical creature (their absence being the one thing that puts a damper on Narnia for me 😅). Glad to have this recommendation!

I was lucky enough to get to see the Flower Flowers exhibition here in the UK a few years ago. FYI https://www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/whatson/lady-lever-art-gallery/exhibition/flower-fairies#section--the-exhibition

Wind in the Willows, C.S. Lewis, and springtime is about as wonderful as trio as I've found on Substack. This is lovely.

Thank you for the kind words!

Per your recommendation of Flower Fairies of the Spring, I purchased a copy for our 19 month old granddaughter at the start of Spring this year. Upon seeing the book, she said, "Oooooh! Book!" It is now her favorite amongst a company of lovely treasures in her budding library. Thank you, Rachelle!

Such great book suggestions for spring! I’m currently re-reading the Secret Garden which is one of my childhood favorites!

That's such a good one too! I have in my stack to introduce my kids to soon.

Thanks for the recommendations! Flower Fairies is new to me. I'm reading an interesting but stuffy literary criticism of the Russian novel, which is not very spring-y at all! Maybe I should swap it for something more cheerful :)

Russian lit is good for any time of year, I think!
